Street Fighter 6 Welcomes Terry Bogard on September 24th!

In a major announcement, Street Fighter 6 will be introducing Terry Bogard, the legendary brawler from the Fatal Fury series, as a playable character on September 24th. Fans of both Street Fighter and Fatal Fury are excited to see this crossover come to life, as Terry brings with him his iconic moves and fighting style that made him a fan favorite over the years.

Terry Bogard first appeared in SNK's Fatal Fury: King of Fighters in 1991 as the protagonist of the series. Known for his trademark red jacket, cap, and powerful fighting techniques like the "Power Geyser" and "Burn Knuckle," Terry quickly rose to popularity in the fighting game community. His journey through the streets of Southtown and battles against fierce opponents in the Fatal Fury and King of Fighters series made him a beloved figure in gaming history.

While the excitement around his arrival in Street Fighter 6 is high, there are tournament regulations in place. As per the rules of our tournament, Terry will not be immediately available for competitive play. For at least the first two weeks following his release, Terry will be off-limits to all competitors. The tournament's competitive council will carefully review and assess the character before approving him for use in official matches. This ensures fairness and balance, giving the community time to adapt to any new changes he may bring to the game.

Stay tuned for more updates as we prepare to welcome Terry Bogard to the ring, and may the best fighters rise to the challenge in our upcoming matches!
