Laura Breshock is an ASCA trained School Counselor, graduating Seattle University with her MA.Ed in 2021. Prior to this she attended Linfield University for her Bachelor of Arts Degree in History, and Kings College London for her MA in Creative and Cultural Industries. But before all of that, she was the student with disabilities whose mother encouraged her playing Pokemon Blue on her gameboy color because, “it’s the only thing I can get her to read.” An avid gamer since the N64 came out, she joined the board to bridge the gap between Mental Health and gaming culture. In a society that often pits these two realms against one another, Laura seeks to combat the antagonists by demonstrating the common ground of both sides. Healthy gaming habits, building community and inclusion, digital citizen etiquette and behavior, and providing awareness and resources for gaming addiction, are all topics Laura hopes to support and encourage while serving on the board.

Adrienne's journey into esports began through her school's athletics department and the WIAA. Initially, she was simply interested in learning more about the esports proposal, not anticipating she would become the coach. However, after a conversation with the Athletic Director, she was appointed as the head coach of the inaugural Centrailia High School Esports team—only a week before the spring season began. With little time to prepare, Adrienne was fortunate to work with a talented and enthusiastic group of students. Their passion and knowledge helped guide the team through its first season, which culminated in a 1st place victory in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Adrienne is incredibly proud of the founding team, and their success has laid the foundation for the continued growth and success of the CHS Esports program.
